The Iris Foundation was pleased to welcome staff from Bendigo Bank for a morning tea at the EIC Cottage, Wyong on July 4, 2017.

Bendigo Bank has provided invaluable support for the Foundation’s community initiatives, particularly Cool Connections, a resilience-building program which has been implemented successfully in several schools across the Central Coast.

Local and state managers Kylie, Kim, Mark and John had an opportunity to learn more about the impact their support has had on the lives of vulnerable people in the region. They were also joined by staff from Wyong Neighbourhood Centre, and by Iris Foundation volunteer Lisa, who shared candidly about the devastating impact of the suicide of a loved one.

The gathering was an opportunity for the Iris Foundation to show appreciation for support received, and to discuss further early intervention strategies to be rolled out in coming months.
