Cool Connections in School

Cool Connections is an eight-week, in-school program for students in Years 5 and 6, that helps them identify their own positive qualities.

The objective of the program is to increase each student’s resilience working with them to build their confidence, develop their social skills and to create a sense of connectedness with others at the School and in their Community.

Cool Connections has a significant art component that keeps learning fun and engaging for the young participants.  The program is run at Central Coast schools each term with teachers reporting strong improvements in students’ self-esteem, confidence and classroom behaviour.

The program involves weekly 1.5 hour sessions, run during school hours. It is suitable for all children, including those quieter kids who sometimes struggle to connect with what’s unique and special about them.
