The Iris Foundation was set up to raise awareness of mental health issues that may lead to suicide – especially in young people – if not recognised and addressed.
By being involved in a wide range of social and community activities and conducting fund-raising events, the Foundation has been able to finance programs aimed at awareness and support for youth and families, as well as people bereaved by the suicide of a loved one.
