Take time for a reality check

Adults are routinely pressured to have their lives in manageable order, to have all the answers and to make the right choice every time. Such unrealistic expectations often lead to unnecessary stress, anxiety and conflict.

Try to remind yourself regularly:

a) We can understand very little about a person or their circumstances from their outward appearance (or their social media posts); and

b) Nobody has all the right answers. Most people are just trying to do the best they can.
